Flexideck Octagonal Play Systems

Octagonals are the most flexible of the Flexidecks. With eight faces, there are lots of activity opportunities in every direction.

When low they make a great stage for storytime or theatrical activities. When built around trees they can add new dimensions to the landscape architecture of a playground.
Flexideck Octagonals can be adapted to many purposes, and are particularly good with younger children.

Flexideck Octagonal decks can fit into almost any space. You can select from the following five sizes to find the deck that will best suit your needs.

Octagonal deck heights

Flexideck Octagonals are available in two heights. At 400mm high, the low deck does not require tested undersurfacing, and is suitable for all ages. If you would like to include add-on activities such as slides or climbers, the deck height is 950mm. At this height, tested undersurfacing is required.

OCTAGONAL FEATURE OPTIONS

Flexideck Octagonals can be tailored to suit almost any purpose. These feature options are available at no extra cost, and allow you to build a play space that will meet your specific needs.

	Standard Full Flexideck access allows the use of interchangeable equipment or open entrances to the deck area.
	Enclosed back This option allows you to control the use of the deck, helping you to shape your supervision needs.
	Stage front This feature opens up the deck space, allowing it to be used for a variety of purposes, such as a stage for theatrical activities, or simply as a large open access area to the deck.

DESIGN YOUR OWN OCTAGONAL

Flexideck Octagonals are versatile. They can be built to suit your specific requirements; just follow these three easy steps.

Step 1. How big?

Choose the deck option that best suits your space and play requirements

Decide which height you would like to make your deck, keeping in mind that any deck above 500mm will require tested undersurfacing. The standard low deck is 400mm high; the high deck is 950mm high. The types of add-on activities you select will also affect which height you choose for your deck.

Step 2. What features?

Decide which types of openings you would like around the sides of your deck

You can select from enclosed back, stage front or full Flexideck access. These features are available at no extra cost, and allow you to create your ideal play space.
